Our Challenge
The 2026 Burnaby municipal election is a pivotal moment for the City of Burnaby. At the heart of Metro Vancouver Burnaby has transformed into the third major city in British Columbia. Yet our provincial and municipal governments have not kept pace with rapid population growth. Burnaby is now facing the consequences of outdated and unforgiving policies, struggling with traffic congestion, rising living costs, and an unprecedented loss of financial resilience. It is time to demand accountability from our municipal governments and seriously address public safety concerns — particularly the growing concern over drug-use shelters and co-located health and supportive housing projects in Burnaby.
